Kid Rock Calls 911 Over Death of Friend.

On April 25, 2016, the music world was shocked by the tragic death of Michael Sacha, the personal assistant of rock musician Kid Rock, whose real name is Robert Ritchie. Sacha, a 30-year-old Michigan native, was involved in a fatal all-terrain vehicle (ATV) accident on Kid Rock's sprawling estate in Nashville, Tennessee.

The incident occurred after a cookout on Kid Rock's property. Sacha was tasked with driving two guests from the cookout down the driveway to meet an Uber driver at midnight. While returning to the residence on the ATV, Sacha lost control of the vehicle and crashed.

The following morning, Kid Rock and a friend discovered Sacha's body on the embankment of the property's long driveway. The scene was described as gruesome, with the ATV still running and wedged in the trees, and Sacha's face severely injured. Kid Rock immediately called 911, but Sacha was already deceased by the time the fire department arrived.

The Metropolitan Nashville Police Department classified Sacha's death as an accident. A medical examiner's report later revealed that Sacha was intoxicated at the time of the accident, with a blood-alcohol content more than twice the legal driving limit in Tennessee. The report also stated that Sacha suffered significant injuries to his head and neck, with the accident severing his brain from his spinal cord in several areas.

Kid Rock was devastated by the loss of his friend and assistant. In a statement, he said, "He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with. I know I speak for us all in sharing my deepest condolences to his family. I cannot imagine how they must feel".
